Standalone True On-Line UPS Range Provides 1.6 to 6kVA

The XT Series uses the same, proven technology built into XP Energy’s established Xi range to provide 1.6 to 6kVA from a new standalone “Tower” format that users will find easy to accommodate, particularly in IT-related applications. XP Energy Systems’ standard front-panel LED mimic display provides users with an instant graphical indication of the system’s status.

XT UPS systems are single 230VAC input units with an internal battery capable of supplying autonomous power for several minutes. In IT and point of sale (POS) applications for example, this is sufficient for systems to “survive” short supply interruptions or to be correctly shutdown.

As standard, the batteries have a five year design life, but XP Energy Systems can supply batteries with a 10 year life option. When made available in Q2, the 6kVA unit will incorporate an isolation transformer making it suitable for those applications requiring a “clean” earth such as patient care installations.

All units are supplied with shutdown and monitoring software with some additional features for remote monitoring and control. Monitoring is achieved locally via RS232 or remotely via a connected network.

The unit is supplied with everything needed for immediate use including all cables, software CD and a comprehensive instruction manual.

The new units are rated to IP20 and are specified for use over the operating temperature range of 0 to 40ºC. They also meet all current and appropriate EMC and safety requirements.
