With the acquisition of QSI Corporation we get a strong presence in North America which is a strategically important market for Beijer Electronics. QSI Corporation has established itself as one of the leading suppliers of rugged operator panels and mobile data terminals for the industrial and transportation sectors. QSI Corporation is mainly active in the North American market and is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah with a turnover of approximately 20 MUSD and 70 employees.

The acquisition of QSI Corporation means:
- substantially increased body in the North American market with established sales and support channels
- a wider portfolio of products and solutions by adding rugged operator panels and mobile data terminals for the industrial and transportation sectors
