Disconnect double-throw switch design avoids fouling

Targeting users looking for a more cost-effective single-phase switching option, Ronk has unveiled its new fused disconnect double-throw switch. The product works as a safety switch and double-throw switch for a generator, all in one enclosure. The unique design of its load break contact mechanism will not fail due to fouling.

Several features typically considered add-ons are included as standard, such as a neutral bar for service equipment, a NEMA 3R all-aluminum rainproof enclosure, and best-in-class type-T fuses.

Nothing comparable is currently available in the marketplace, according to Tom Giordano, Ronk’s national sales and marketing manager. "This addition to Ronk’s broad portfolio is truly an industry game changer. It gives customers everything they need for single-phase switching in one box: reliability, simplicity, economy, and safety. It looks better, lasts longer, and costs less…no more overpaying."
