New Schaltbau LV500 high ampacity charging connector

The LV500’s durable design provides long-term reliability and operating safety, delivering maximum performance in harsh environmental conditions. With its form-stable, glass fibre reinforced shell, the connector is resistant to mechanical stress, shock and vibration, acids and extreme temperatures.

Innovative design of the high quality, machine-turned contacts creates an increased contact area, enabling higher amperage, reduced temperature rise, and low contact resistance during continued operation. This results in high contact forces that do not deteriorate over time, and less wear and tear during the mating cycle.

LV500 is the latest addition to Schaltbau’s proven LV Series which includes 80A, 160A and 320A connectors. The range features an innovative modular design, intermateability with all commercial connector systems, and an option for batteries with a commercial electrolyte circulation system. The LV Series meets the requirements of UL 1977 and exceeds the standard EN 1175-1.
