NEW JUMPER/STARTER CABLES FOR PROFESSIONAL AND DIY AUTOMOTIVE MECHANICS
GYS Ltd, the French welding equipment and battery charger manufacturer has launched three series jumper/starter cables to meet demand from DIY car mechanics as well as professional automotive, commercial vehicle and agricultural equipment mechanics.

The DIY range comes in three sizes 200A with 2.8m 10mm diameter cables, 320A with 3m 16mm diameter cables and 500A with 3.5m, 25mm diameter cables and all are supplied complete with fully insulated metal clamps in easy to store promotional zipper bags.

The 4 versions in the PRO range from 320A – 1000A are designed to stand wear and tear of the heavy user such as the professional mechanic employed in garages and vehicle repair organisations for use on cars, agricultural vehicles and commercial vehicles. Because they are supplied with high quality heavy duty bronze clamps providing strength and excellent conductivity, they can be connected and left until the charge is complete without having to continually check the connections.

The Super Pro series, designed for heavy duty, specialist applications by the professional mechanic is available in two sizes, 700A with 4.5m, 35mm diameter cables and 1000A with 5m, 50mm diameter cables. The 1000A version is supplied with 100% copper cables and has an anti-arc protection to protect against power surges through the cables thereby helping to protect the vehicles sensitive electronic equipment. Both versions have fully insulated bronze L-shaped clamps to make connecting easier.
