Customization and communication takes a front row seat in this new design and underscores the Kaspro view concerning HMI usage. KA-Software, the company’s in house developed configuration software, used on all Kaspro HMIs, offers users the option of displaying their own logo or graphics message as the unit “powers-up”.
Kaspro opted for a ‘neutral styled’ front panel that does not have any corporate logo or model name on it. This choice is not by chance, the company firmly believes that many machine and panel builders prefer the non-branded look since it, together with the logo-at-power-on feature, enables a total customized look.
Multiple communication options are provided via the Ethernet port, two USB Host ports, 1 USB Slave port, one Printer Port, 3 Serial ports and an additional SD slot.
KA-Software includes over 100 drivers, providing seamless connectivity to all major, and many minor, controller brands. Kaspro encourages clients to stay up to date by making its KA-Software (including a future versions) available for free download from their website.
