New Delphi Connector Backshells For Vehicle Wiring

Faults in electrical systems in the past have been traced back to the use of pressure washers in cleaning down of vehicles this has led to connectors needing to be designed to meet higher specifications. Harnessflex new backshell for Delphi (12162852) connectors also helps in this and offers protection against cable straining and mechanical abrasion this has been achieved by working with the OEM’s.

Delphi connectors are used in vehicles throughout the world and Harnessflex continues to develop its backshell range to match the new designs of Delphi connectors. The new MMP2 version extends the Harnessflex range of external hinged backshells. These elbow and straight backshells form part of the Delphi Metripack range.

The MMP2 straight connector offers two connections. For flexibility, the elbow version can be swivelled through 90°, around the backshell housing. This prevents the problem of overflexing due to vibration and therefore excessive strain.
