Large Screen Panel PC from Aplex UK adds a new level of visibility to HMI applications

The latest and largest in this family, the AHM-6177 is equally at home in both industrial and public environments where a larger screen is essential for both visibility and the display of important information.

Ideally suited for use in waiting room arrival systems, customer information kiosks, public information services and in industrial/processing situations where large screen visibility is required, the fanless AHM-6177 uses the low power Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor with 533MHz FSB with support for up to 2Gbyte of DDR2 SODIMM RAM. The TFT LCD screen is housed in a lightweight, compact chassis for both panel or VESA mounting and it is NEMA4/IP65 rated providing a high level of resistance to both liquids and airborne contaminants.

Supporting Windows XP Pro, XP Embedded and Win CE 5.0, The AHM-6177 has an extensive range of I/O options including up to four serial ports, two RJ45 GbE ports, analogue VGA video, PS/2 keyboard and mouse and audio connectors. Built-in DC to DC converters ensure that the PC can operate from a wide ranging 11 to 28VDC power source at operating temperatures of 0 - 50 degrees C.
