Strain gauges designed for high temperatures up to 350°C
HBM has expanded its range of strain gauges, of the KFU series, which can be used at extremely high temperatures up to 350°C. The KFU strain gauges are shipped with a 1m long cables and are protected against high temperatures. They are available in grid lengths of 2 and 5mm as well as in different versions, such as linear, T (with two measuring grids) or R (with three measuring grids) rosettes, depending on the applications requirements.

HBM Test and Measurement has introduced its new T21WN torque transducer. Based on strain-gauge technology, the T21WN uses contactless energy and measurement signal transmission to measure torque. The torque transducer enables demanding static and dynamic measurements of torque, rotational speed, and angle of rotation to be performed on non-rotating as well as rotating components.

All-Fill’s load cell selection ensures accuracy for its range of filling machines
Leading UK manufacturer, All-Fill International Ltd has selected HBM’s PW12C 75 kg capacity load cell and AD103C Analogue to Digital Convertor (A/D) card for its latest sack filling machine. This ensures the accuracy of the machine meets the specification of up to ±0.1% of the fill weight. The machine is designed for filling 25kg sacks but All-Fill International decided it needed a bigger load cell to meet different customer specifications.
