Appointment and promotion underpins UK growth for HBM

Greg will initially focus on the test and measurement sector and will be supporting advanced engineering companies engaged in research, development and testing in a wide range of sectors including wind and other renewable energy research. While Greg’s primary role will be to focus on sales he will – as do all HBM UK engineers – provide some technical support for his customers.

Greg has a keen interest in environmental considerations and is specifically interested in energy generation from renewables such as wind power. This is one of the key sectors for targeted growth by HBM globally and Greg’s efforts will help his customers benefit from the integrated technology in data acquisition and analysis available from HBM.

Comments Greg, “I am really looking forward to starting work with HBM at this exciting time as we seek to help our customers become more efficient with their testing and development programs.” Outside of work, Greg has a deep love of two wheels; he enjoys mo torcycling, mountain biking and road riding. Greg also took part in several triathlons last year.

Greg’s appointment follows Paul Beardsworth’s promotion to Sales Manager UK & Ireland. This gives Paul overall responsibility for the performance of HBM UK’s highly qualified team of sales engineers during this period of growth. Paul comments, “Greg’s appointment is a fantastic opportunity for HBM UK as it makes our geographical coverage much more effective with dedicated Sales Engineers based in the north, Midlands and south.
