The nation’s critical infrastructure sectors such as public health, banking & finance, energy, water and transportation all rely on computerised information and systems to provide services to the public.

The Critical Infrastructure Protection Drive (CPID), the European Critical Infrastructure (ECI), the Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) & the Centre for Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI). All of these bodies has one aim in common – Security of Critical Equipment.

The directive now covers Industries such as Energy, Nuclear, Public Health, Information Technology, CCTV and Communications Technology.

Critical infrastructure protection efforts need to be in place to keep such vulnerable systems working at all times regardless of the event i.e. terrorism or extreme weather situations.

Harland Simon UPS Ltd offers a wide range of Power Solutions, including AC UPS for Indoor and Outdoor applications, IP54 UPS Enclosures, DC UPS and Generators that can ensure reliable power to back up critical systems.
