STRENGTH AND CORROSION RESISTANCE WITH FLEXIBILITY IN APPLICATION – EMKA’S 1121 STAINLESS SWINGHANDLES
Andy Billingham, MD of market leading “everything but the enclosure” component company EMKA, told us:
“The swinghandle format is great isn’t it? We all love them and I think that EMKA did a great job devising this convenient new design. However, there has been a problem obtaining those benefits in a swinghandle produced for abusive applications, vandal vulnerable roadside cabinets and aggressively corrosive situations. Now EMKA have changed all that with the Program 1121 swinghandle in stainless.”

Explained Andy “our 1121 program is manufactured in AISI 316 to provide the strength of stainless steel with the flexibility of the EMKA modular system. This enables the 1121 to accept all standard EMKA lock profiles, keylocks and insert locks, as well as offering a padlockable variant.”

The stainless 1121 features full compatibility with the comprehensive range of EMKA standard internal rod locking systems – thus enabling single point, 3 point and multi-point door closure – all based on the standard 25mm x 50mm twin hole cut out. EMKA’s range of enclosure hardware includes electronic locking systems, stainless steel hinges, spanner locks, wing handle/locks, 19 inch cabinet locks, HVAC locks and profile sealing strips for enclosure sealing in natural rubber, EPDM, neoprene and PVC.
