Rittal Protect with Stainless Steel

Enclosures, which are situated in harsh environments, need extra protection against external elements. Rittal’s extensive range of stainless steel enclosures offer a high resistance against contamination and corrosion, are easy to clean and offer superior needs in terms of hygiene.

The series incorporates a range of stainless steel 304 grade wall and floor standing enclosures, from small terminal boxes to large TS 8 baying systems as well as human machine interface consoles and kiosks. For more aggressive environments such as marine, pharmaceutical manufacturing or the petrochemical industry the stainless steel range also incorporates enclosures in 314 grade stainless steel, which offers additional resistance against corrosion and contamination.

For environments where high pressure and tough cleaning methods are required, Rittal’s IP69K stainless steel enclosures provide protection against any form of water ingress. Tested and certified to withstand 100 bar pressure at 80 degree C, the enclosures safeguard all internal electrical components during washdowns. The enclosures are designed to mount control gear on the inner door and protect the internal equipment after the door has been closed. The IP69K range includes human machine interfaces; operating panels with built in TFT screens and terminal enclosures.
