Harland Simon Boosts Telecommunications Energy Efficiency With Eaton’s New Energy Saver Rectifier
Eaton’s Energy Saver Rectifier technology is designed to reduce wasted energy by at least 50 percent with the added benefits of producing less heat into the equation, resulting in lower cooling requirements.
The Energy Saver Rectifier technology can produce significant cost savings for the telecommunications sector globally and reduced carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
Despite an excellent efficiency profile for the Energy Saver Rectifier across a wide range of outputs up to 2000w, the product also operates with Eaton’s Load Based Rectifier Shutdown (LBRS) technology. This Smarter Energy feature of the SC200 System Controller shares loads between rectifiers for optimal efficiency, by switching rectifiers off and on accordingly. The Energy Saver Rectifier is fully compatible with Eaton’s 3G series of DC power systems.
