Eaton’s New Dry Break Quick Disconnect Flat Face Couplings Provide Peace of Mind for Hydraulic Power Transmission Applications in Challenging Environments

Designed and manufactured in accordance with Article 3.3 of the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23 EC, the MLFF couplings feature a standard sleeve lock that prevents accidental disconnection. The push-to-connect design incorporates double shut-off flat face valves, ensuring there is no fluid loss on either connection or disconnection. The MLFF series couplings are ISO 16028 certified and are interchangeable with ISO 16028 standard couplings.

MLFF couplings are available in a range of ISO 16028 body sizes including 1/4 (6.3mm), 3/8 (10mm), 1/2 (12.5mm), 5/8 (16mm) and 3/4 (19mm), 1” (25mm), and with a wide range of seal material options to meet the needs of different applications. Additional sizes of 1 ¼, 1 ½, and 2 are also available but are not covered under the ISO 16028 standard. Standard end connections are available in NPT and BSPP. Alternative connections are available upon request.

In complex and fast-paced workplaces, operators will find easy visual identification that helps them prevent mixing of connections. All sizes of couplings are available with a colour ring for both the plug and socket halves. Standard colours available are red, green, blue and yellow. Additional colours are available upon request.
