Bentek Solar Releases Bi-Polar Solar Combiner during Solar Power International

Bentek Solar, a leader in the design and manufacture of optimized Configure-To-Order (CTO) solar combiners and re-combiners, announces that Schneider Electric will introduce its Solar Bi-Polar Array Combiner for the first time during Solar Power International, which takes place October 12-14, 2010.

“The Bi-Polar Combiner was designed and manufactured specifically for solar inverters such as the Schneider Electric™ Xantrex™ GT30 Grid Tie Inverter. Customers have been requesting a Bi-Polar combiner and a Grid Tie Inverter that works as a transformerless bi-polar design. This gives customers a very small, efficient footprint which lends well to rooftop and electrical room installations,” said John H. Buckley, leading the sales and marketing at Bentek Solar.

Bentek Solar’s Bi-Polar Combiner is specifically designed for Bi-Polar Arrays up to 00VDC. The combiners feature a finger-safe design and options for integrated disconnect and current sense. Additionally, all Bi-Polar Combiners come standard with lockable NEMA 4X fiberglass enclosures and are UL1741 listed and CSA 22.2 certified.
