AEC Power Control merges with BORRI

The affiliation between BORRI and AEC Power Control began two years ago when the Taiwan based Allis Electrical Company (AEC) closed its factory in Italy and stopped manufacturing 3-phase UPS. Looking for a new supplier that could provide it with enhanced products and technical support, AEC Power Control entered into an OEM deal with BORRI, which has been supplying the company with 3-phase UPS ever since.

Last year, AEC Power Control set up a subsidiary company, BORRI UK, to assess the response to the BORRI product range. Such was the positive reaction of customers to the quality of the BORRI range of AC and DC power systems that the company made the decision to merge with BORRI.

The rebranded company is being established under a new management structure headed up by Ian Tucker, Director. It will continue to operate as the official maintenance company for AEC and will maintain a large stockholding of spares for AEC power systems as well as undertake all AEC warranty work.

BORRI’s products cover the entire power logistics’ chain from production to consumption and offer cost-effective solutions for both AC and DC power systems that have been proven in the hardest operating environments. In the United Kingdom, BORRI will be offering the full range of products. Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) will cover from 1 – 20kVA single phase and 10kVA – 4.8mVA 3-phase for both IT and industrial markets.
