Distributed exclusively by STEMMER IMAGING, the Prosilica GX-Series from Allied Vision Technologies use Link Aggregation technology to double the data transmission rate offered by GigE Vision to 240 MB/sec. Link Aggregation, or IEEE 802.3ad, is a networking technology that uses multiple Ethernet ports in parallel to increase the link speed beyond the limits of a single port. This makes the GX-Series the fastest GigE Vision compliant cameras in the world.

The new HSLink interface from DALSA has been designed in co-operation with the Camera Link 2 subcommittee to meet the needs of all machine vision applications and carries image data, configuration data and low jitter, real time triggering signals over a simple network topology supporting cameras, intermediate devices and frame grabbers. It combines the key strengths of Camera Link® with new features and functions. HSLink is designed from a system point of view, ensuring the ability to create low cost cameras and frame grabbers, while meeting the ease of use, flexibility and data reliability demanded by end customers. HSLink delivers scalable bandwidth in 300 megabyte/second steps, from 300 to 6000 megabytes/second, while using globally available, off-the-shelf components.

STEMMER IMAGING’s latest camera offering, the JAI AD-081CL, features two monochrome progressive scan CCD sensors mounted to a custom-designed optical prism. The prism-based design enables the camera to simultaneously capture two channels of 30 fps video of the same field of view to within one-quarter pixel accuracy. A choice of operating modes allows the camera to be used for high dynamic range, high speed operation or particle imaging velocimetry.
