Spelsberg has launched its revised GTi range of modular build-your-own modular, interconnecting enclosures which allow for rapid expansion; with both individual components and pre-assembled and populated products now available to meet the needs of most usual applications.

Spelsberg has supplied its range of WKE fire resistant enclosures as part of the fire protection system for an expansion in the production site of a major pharmaceutical company. The expansion was designed and installed by Boulting Group who specified the Spelsberg enclosures. The IP65 enclosures are lightweight, corrosion resistant and fast to install, while still being able to protect wiring junctions for at least 90 minutes in the event of a fire.

Spelsberg's new B-Box enclosure offers users the double benefit of extremely fast installation and high water ingress protection. The B-Box has threaded cable entry points, which allow cable glands to be connected directly to the enclosure, forming an IP65 seal. Ideal for industrial and external applications the B-Box is also completely halogen free.

The simple, modular enclosures are designed to make it easy for installers to protect the lighting control PCB - providing easy cable entry, mounting and termination options in a semi-transparent polycarbonate enclosure that allows for easy inspection during and after installation.
