Developed especially for applications on medical and hospital equipment and for use on food processing machines, CLEAN line clamping knobs and pull handles from Elesa have these parts for hygienic reasons and must be frequently cleaned. The solid shape of these standard elements are designed without cavities to prevent accumulation of unhealthy residues and to enable easy cleaning.

By offering a sanitised effect on the surface, the Elesa SAN range of antimicrobial handles and machine elements prevents the build-up of bacteria, mildew and fungi. They are particularly suited to hygiene areas where tests carried out on material samples have confirmed their persistent antimicrobial action even after numerous cleaning cycles at high temperatures with soap and solvents.

A new tubular handle has been developed from Elesa, the RH-FG16 enables the safety of electrical interlocking with the operator comforts of a large scale handle for opening of heavy doors or panels on ‘live’ industrial machines such as control cabinets, machine tools, press tools, moulding equipment and similar.

Manufacturer and distributor of components for the mechanical industry, Elesa has released its range of ESD fluted grip knobs, levelling element bases and bridge handles in special conductive technopolymer to prevent the accumulation of electrostatic charge. They protect electronic components which would otherwise be damaged by a build-up and consequent destructive discharge.

  Such a widely used item in industry, the bridge/pull handles are sometimes in need of a little modifying to the fixing. For example, where a machine handle cannot be fitted from the rear or where the selected handle is just too short to fit across mounting points.

A lot of the extensive Elesa range of standard machine elements are designed around the needs of processing and packaging machinery manufacturers, and many of these will be on display at the 2017 PPMA Exhibition, which takes place on 26th–28th September in the NEC, Birmingham. Featured on the Elesa’s stand no E02 will be their IP65-7 direct dial digital position indicators with electronic mechanism for easy set up and readout.

Coming up this week is the SPE Offshore Europe Exhibition in Aberdeen, and Elesa are pleased to be displaying its offshore related standard elements at the forthcoming event, taking place 5th-8th September. The Elesa stand will focus especially on their new ATEX range of hydraulic accessories plus a variety of oil level indicators and stainless steel components – from handwheels to levelling feet.

Machine operating manufacturer, Elesa, have a specialist package of safety related components which are designed for machine guarding and operation in the manufacturing arena. The CFSW is an integrated hinge with switch for guard frames and access panels enabling equipment to be shut down if the panel is even slightly opened.

Well known for its usability and style of their industrial components, Elesa have clearly shown this in the GN 306 adjustable handles and VCT lobe knob ranges of complementary standard components. These are suited to industrial applications on machines and equipment where quick operation is required - including machine tools and equipment in the packaging, printing, woodworking and other general industries.

  'V0' certification to UL-94 V is an increasingly common requirement for equipment in the electrical sector - so Elesa are offering yet more quarter-turn latch hardware and bridge/pull handles in their AE-V0 series.

  Elesa has released the new GN 653.2 retained screws, designed with knurled grip knob to provide an elegant solution to problems of mounting/demounting brackets, components and instruments for rapid removal without the risk of losing the clamping knob in the process.

Dealing with potential explosive atmospheres, the ATEX regulations have led Elesa to introduce a range of appropriate hydraulic components for use in systems complying with these regulations. This is expected to include many pumps, anti-spark installations, oil and gas, water and sewage and petrochemical plants, as well as mines and flour mills.

Although there are many plastic hinges on the market, it is an area where low quality is common, so when Elesa, manufacturer of quality machine components, introduced a range of technically well thought-out and high quality manufactured hinges with exceptional performance, such as the CFA and CFAX series 180° hinges, they proved popular.

The new chrome-on-technopolymer plating process from Elesa facilitates cleaning on machines and equipment in hygiene zones, for example, with water jets or steam. Chromed lobe knobs, adjustable handles, quick-fit latches and finger pull handles are all available in this hardwearing finish, matched to cavity free designs to prevent build-up of biological detritus and speed wash-down cycles.
