ELESA has introduced advanced visual flow indicators, enhanced with PLC-compatible sensors and impeller-mounted activating clips.

Elesa Ltd will once again exhibit at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2020, Farnborough, from the 11-13th February, on stand number F250. Elesa will display their range of high quality machine components, used for production equipment and often incorporated into end products – including such items as: levelling feet, castors, measuring, alignment, e.g. bulls eye levels, linear and angular measurement.

As a worldwide manufacturer/distributor, Elesa have rather shorter lines of communication with their customers than might otherwise be the case, a situation which allows them to focus their manufacturing expertise on rapid response and highly detailed product designs. This has resulted in the Ergostyle brand, coupled with the elecolors program.

Elesa ZCR and ZCL rack and spur gear transmission elements are suitable for applications where, in addition to mechanical resistance, even quiet operations are required, with no need for lubrication maintenance. Over the last few decades, the evolution in engineering plastics and technopolymers has led to the availability of spur gears in plastic material featuring high mechanical strengths. 

Elesa are now offering units for all industrial purposes from simple desks and workstations to vibration damping and non-slip for heavy machines, food industry and biohazard applications. At the light duty end of the spectrum the LX series are designed with adjustment moulded into the foot. They are suited to application on instrumentation housings, office desking, bench top equipment, portable stands and displays or similar.

Elesa now offer the broad range of their RE series castors and wheels in a variety of materials specifically oriented toward dealing with industrial surfaces, loads, operational requirements and environmental demands such as chemicals and temperatures. This large and diverse range of castors and wheels meet the challenges of applications from trolleys to stillages, mobile equipment to transit cases.

The Elesa ELEROLL package of rollers and ball transfer modules is designed to greatly simplify installation and use of this type of widely used conveyor system. The modular ELEROLL roller conveyors allow easy and quick joining of units to create loading and unloading areas in the construction of machines, storage and retrieval systems or packaging machines. 

The Elesa series of hygienic knobs and handles in stainless steel with FDA compliant sealing compliment their established adjustable levelling feet to complete a series suited to medical, pharmaceutical, food processing and related industrial applications. In fact, all those messy situations where frequent aggressive cleaning is required to prevent the build-up of bacteria and dirt in general.

It has been announced that Elesa’s LM.F-HD-SST series of levelling feet in stainless steel with permanent floor mounting facility are now EHEDG certified (European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group). This means that they offer significant advantages in improved hygiene and reduced cleaning time and resources, thus enhancing the environment, and saving on use of cleaning materials and time taken in wash-down cycles.

The Elesa range of heavy duty manual latch and toggle clamps in the MTP and MPB series are supplemented with their PPC pneumatic drive units for push-button or automated operation. A particular feature of Elesa heavy duty clamps is their in-built adaptability to suit work-holding, jig closure by virtue of their adjustment and/or weldability for integration into workstation equipment.

It has been announced that many of the extensive Elesa range of standard machine elements, designed around the needs of manufacturing in all industry sectors, will be on display at the 2019 Southern Manufacturing Exhibition. This will be taking place on 5th to 7th February at FIVE, Farnborough.

The Elesa range of standard hydraulic components enable equipment manufacturers to readily complete their production cycle to the highest quality and with efficiency, at competitive price points. Ex-stock HCX column level indicators and HGFT screw-in window level indicators provide simple solutions to monitoring of oil and other fluids including oil additives and chemicals.

Elesa’s MPI-15 magnetic measuring system allows precise alignment and positioning of workpieces so reducing time of machinery processes to a minimum, saving costs and speeding the whole production cycle. The MPI-15 combined with magnetic band is easy to install and features an easy to read digital display enabling operators to accurately read out linear or angular displacements.

Elesa Soft-Touch technology raises the bar for industrial components with outstanding comfort and control at the operator’s fingertips. Designed by Elesa for equipment where high performance is crucial – like fitness, rehab and disability equipment, high precision instruments and environments experiencing unfavourable climatic conditions.

  Continuously moving loads will benefit from these soft polyurethane wheeled castors from Elesa as their 75 Shore A moulded-on wheels coupled to ball bearing hubs give exceptionally smooth rollability coupled with excellent maneuverability and zero maintenance.

Elesa have introduced a wireless spindle positioning system, which enables faster and more reliable machine set up by use of a wireless connected profile controller, and displays the initial set up values on each of up to 36 electronic position indicators. The operator can simply choose the appropriate menu then quickly re-set each spindle to its correct start position and the machine is ‘good to go.’ This saves time and takes out much of the possibility of human error.

The new ZCR and ZCL modular gear racks and spur gears provide an easy to install package of quiet, lightweight, lubrication free and soft feel rack and pinion gear drives for adjustment of equipment or positioning of workpieces. Typically they are suitable for assembly equipment, production workstations, instrumentation, inspection systems or other situations where quick linear movement is required.

The Elesa LMHD hygienic levelling feet with mounting holes provide rugged adjustable equipment mounting and facilitate reduced cleaning work – which can be up to 25% of the production time. This leaves more time available for production, with less use of resources such as fresh water, energy and cleaning agents, also with less waste water to process, and so lower total costs.
