  Elesa has released new DVB and DVC rubber bushes, which offer vibration damping for mounting of motors, rotating machines, vibrating equipment and as buffers/limit stops in all sorts of applications.

A range of IP65 security locking handles, swing handles and ¼ turn locks/latches, is provided by Elesa for equipment such as enclosures, cabinets, machine controls and access panels. Their CSMH IP65 flush-mounted latch with pop-out T handle is an example of functionality and style. It is fitted with a cylinder lock and facility for padlocking with up to 9mm diameter hasp.

  Commonly known as ‘soft-touch’ the Elesa Grip knobs, control knobs and handles represent its ‘SOFT’ LINE, and have been developed for use on machinery and equipment requiring frequent tightening, or for applications subject to severe stress.

  Defining over 40,000 components used in the manufacturing of machines and equipment, including for production, warehousing, agriculture, general office equipment and industrial systems housings and enclosures is Elesa’s new 2017 printed catalogue, no. 166.

  The new BEL series of Bull’s eye circular spirit levels from Elesa provide centre bubble levelling in a variety of mounting formats, for use where frequent relocation is foreseen or where exact level is required to be checked.

Permanent magnets from Elesa provide temporary fixing for work-pieces, instruments, gauges, covers, doors, signs or drawers. It offers a range of closure from low to extremely high adhesive force in a very small footprint – giving easy manual placement or concealed closure if required. Temporary fixing with high power magnets can provide permanent solutions, quickly adjusted or removed completely.

When machines vibrate, whether they are motor driven or conveyors for fragile assemblies, the Elesa range of vibration damping elements can serve to cushion the vibrational energy. This leads to greater operator comfort, greater accuracy, reduced damage and longer lifetimes with reduced maintenance.

  Reinforced polyamide handles have been designed by Elesa to protect the user while lifting boxes, cases and equipment. The Elesa MLP's design allows them to visually blend into equipment while their rounded form minimises vulnerability to damage.

Complementing its well-known range of hydraulic accessories is the new Elesa HVF in line visual flow indicators. These indicators are a simple, cost-effective means of checking correct operation of many fluid systems and so protecting associated equipment from the consequences of flow stoppages.

A range of circular toothed clamping plates have been designed by Elesa, which enable quick, accurate and robust positioning of equipment which may be fixed permanently or then quickly changed if required and indexed for dis-assembly and re-assembly. They provide adjustment in six degree increments for correct angular alignment of instruments, frames, lighting units, disability equipment and similar.

  Enabling adjustment of equipment mounted on threaded stems, is the new Elesa GFL lobe nut, which also may be used singly to lock against another threaded component or in pairs to lock a tubular bracket in place.

The DD52R-E from Elesa fits larger 20mm dia. shafts while offering IP65 or IP67 sealing for arduous environments on industrial equipment of all kinds where high accuracy measurement of shaft position is required. This enables machine setting, counting or position monitoring to be achieved while providing an excellent easy to read six digit display that is legible in any position, with an eight year battery life.

The tough new Elesa GN 1130 lifting lock pins enable quick installation on heavy equipment, for lifting either axially or at up to 90° for use with specialised lifting equipment.

Elesa’s new MO series horizontal toggle clamps feature the MOAS and MOBS stainless steel designs with in-built safety latch which prevents accidental opening when subjected to strong vibrations or side forces.

The Elesa Stop Lock series keep doors and draws closed under strong vibration conditions by virtue of their robust design and simple indexing at 90° intervals. 

The Elesa torque amplifier collar, when used in conjunction with clamping handles and clamping knobs, enables clamping forces to be doubled compared with non-amplified manual operation. The collar facilitates easier operation and saves space, since a smaller handle may be used for the same effect. More reliable clamping force is possible as it is less dependent on the strength of the operator.

Pretty much every machine in the processing and packaging industries from bottling machines to conveyors makes extensive use of standard machine components in dealing with rotating shafts or clamping adjustment. The two new products from Elesa, on display this year at PPMA (NEC 29 Sept – 1 Oct stand no A16) cover both these functional areas.

Elesa’s new series CQ and CSL series IP65 latches incorporate an ingenious quick assembly spring clip mechanism which accommodates door panel thicknesses from 1mm to 2mm with a simple insert and press fitting process – no lock nuts are required as the saw tooth springs take up the recessing adjustment and lock the unit in place.

These new more modern designs of indicator housings come from stylish component company Elesa in the form of a 5 lobe housing and a round diamond cut version. Each offers a slightly different operator feel where lobes may be appropriate for heavier torque and the diamond knurling where a lighter precise touch is called for.

The newly announced Elesa PR-CH flush pull handles save time and money on assembly of the sheet metal lift-off panels and doors commonly used on machinery of many types to cover equipment as a protective element. They are suited for machine access panels and guarding – also for maintenance doors covering internal mechanisms or electrics – so preventing unauthorised personal interaction with dangerous moving parts or electrical systems.
