Electronic Stability Control tests with RT2500
NHTSA's FMVSS126 test is being adopted as a worldwide standard for vehicle safety by the United Nations Working Party on Brakes and Running Gear group. In the United Nations' version of FMVSS126 the RT2500 Inertial and GPS Navigation system is listed as recommended equipment.
This news is fantastic for OxTS's customers who were concerned by NHTSA's wording. By listing the RT2500 in the United Nations' document, the RT2500 can be used without having to justify each of the components against a recommended specification, explains Brendan Watts, Director at OxTS.

The United Nations document describing the tests is available on the web and is linked from the OxTS website, www.oxts.com. It is expected that the GTR version will be adopted worldwide over the next few years.
