New Stylish Professional Welding Helmets From Weldability-SIF
Weldability-SIF, the UK based supplier of MIG, TIG, MMA, Spot and Oxy/Fuel welding and Plasma cutting machines, torches, accessories, consumables and personal protective equipment has launched three new lightweight, stylish, welding helmets with large viewing lenses – ‘Phantom Passive’, ‘Phantom Active’ and ‘Phantom XL, for the professional MMA, TIG and MIG welder in most volume, precision and small batch production as well as car, commercial and agricultural vehicle body repair and other welding applications.
The Phantom Passive made from robust and durable thermoplastic has a shell with an integrated neck guard providing excellent protection to the side of welder’s face. It weighs only 500 grams, when fitted with the 132mm x 115mm easy to replace filter lens available in shades 8 – 13 and the clear inner and outer lens.

The solar powered Phantom Active with a hard wearing, stylish pattern design has a large 98mm x 44mm viewing area with a 110mm x 90mm x 9mm <1 1/10,000s Auto Darkening filter making it ideal for MMA, MIG as well as TIG welding applications offering DIN16 UV/IR protection. It has 2 x light detection sensors, adjustable sensitivity and delay
The Phantom XL with a hard wearing, stylish pattern design has a very large 97mm x 62mm viewing area to help the welder clearly see the weld zone and <1/25,000s Auto Darkening technology with low 2 Amp minimum current sensitivity making it ideal when TIG welding. It is lightweight weighing only 600 grams and is supplied with a large 133mm x 114mm x 9mm Auto Darkening filter cartridge with easy adjustment between shades 9 – 13. It has 4 x light detection sensors to give the welders complete assurance in all applications including the welding of outside corners. It is powered by solar cell and a 6,000hr, replaceable 3V. Li battery for fast switching and low amp adjustable sensitivity and delay.

All these welding helmets meet EN 379, EN175 and Ansi Z87.1 standards and are supplied in attractive sealed packs for point of sale displays with user manuals, clear replacement outer lens, fully adjustable headgear and sweatband.
