Rexnord produce chain with two different types of seam-free rollers; one is cold formed the other is produced from precision tubes.

The cold formed seamless rollers are specially heat treated and then undergo intensive shot peening. They are then calibrated to ensure accurate parallelism and uniform wall thickness. These rollers are used on Rexnord chain sizes 08 B to 24 B and 08 A to 24 A.

Precision tubes are manufactured to Rexnord’s specifications. Each has strict geometrical tolerances and uniform wall thickness. These are employed for chain types 28 B to 72 B and 28 A and 48 A.
