NEW TIG/MMA INVERTER WELDER FROM WELDABILITY-SIF

The TIG150HF from Weldability-SIF, the UK based supplier of MIG, TIG, MMA, Spot and Oxy/Fuel welding and Plasma cutting machines, torches, accessories, consumables and personal protective equipment, is a brand new, light weight (12kg), single phase 230V, 13A, DC TIG/MMA inverter based welding machine featuring IGBT (insulated gate bipolar transistor) technology, TIG Lift arc and HF (High Frequency) arc ignition.

This easy to operate machine can be switched between TIG and MMA welding and between HF and Lift arc ignition at the turn of two quick selection switches on the front panel. The high 93V OCV (Open Circuit Voltage) and the arc force control feature makes this unit ideal for MMA welding using a range of different electrodes including low hydrogen, cellulosic and aluminium electrodes. It has a current range between 5-130A and is rated 130A @ 15% duty cycle, whilst the built in gas solenoid, TIG torch switch socket and remote foot control option make it an excellent unit for the user just starting with TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel and copper.

Another TIG welding feature offered by this machine is an adjustable slope-down ‘crater fill’ current control. Overall it has an ‘Ingress Protection Rating’ of IP21 and includes protection against under and over-voltage, over current and thermal overload.

As an option this machine can be supplied as a complete package in a tool box carry case.
