Invertek to exhibit at two Polish events

Exhibiting twice in Poland in March, Invertek Drives have just celebrated selling one million variable frequency drives, and said it seeks to further develop a growing market in the country. First the company will be exhibiting at the 15th anniversary edition of Forum Fan – Air Condiitoning Salon 2017, running from 7th-8th March, and second at Automaticon 2017, for the third year in a row, with both events being held in the country’s capital Warsaw.

Grzegorz Falkowski, Business Development Manager for Invertek Drives, said: “Poland is an expanding market for us and we attended two events in the country last year - Automaticon and the International Fair of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Control, Drives and Mechatronics – and I am delighted that we are going to be building on this success again in 2017.

“Last year a new Act on Energy Efficiency (AEE) came into force in Poland and the country as a whole now faces heavy penalties from the EU if energy usage is not reduced, so all companies are under pressure to do so.

“Globally, some 28% of worldwide energy is consumed by electric motors and, as our variable frequency drives can save up to 60% in energy usage, I’m sure many more companies in Poland will be interested in our products that can be used in many industry sectors, including HVAC, pump control and elevators, to help meet these stringent new targets.”

Tony Cox, Sales Manager at Invertek Drives, added: “We are attending these two events in Warsaw because Poland has become a real success story for the company and we are aiming to meet many more new customers and show them the energy-saving benefits of our variable frequency drives.

“The March 7th-8th event will be attended by industry professionals from the ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration sectors, many of whom already use our products.

“As part of this event, a competition is also being run where show visitors can vote for the ‘Most Interesting Product 2017’ and we have entered our Optidrive Compact 2.

“The modern, modular, miniaturized frequency converter designed for use in OEM production, the Optidrive Compact 2 has been deprived of the heat sink and the integrated keyboard display can be mounted directly on the construction of the device.

“Built on the technology platform from Optidrive E3, Compact 2 can operate with all types of motors IE2, IE3 and IE4, such as standard Induction (IM), Permanent Magnet (PM) Brushless DC (BLDC) and Synchronous Reluctance (SynRM),” he concluded.

The three-day Automaticon 2017 event, which is being held 14th-17th, will be marking its 23rd year and is considered to be the most important trade fair for automation, control, measurement and robotics in Poland. Last year alone, the event attracted 12,000 visitors, 309 exhibitors and representation from 720 companies.

Cox added: “We have attended this event for the past two years and have found it to be an excellent place to meet the right people from a wide range of industries who can benefit from our variable frequency drives such as our Optidrive P2, Eco and E3 will be popular as more companies aim to reduce their impact on the environment and reduce energy costs.”
