The new SICK CLV610 barcode scanner with the fieldbus module meets the need for easy-to-install and cost-effective product identification in storage, product handling and conveying. Developed in close collaboration with warehouse and logistics customers, the SICK CLV610, combined with the CDF600-2 fieldbus module delivers ‘plug-and-play’ rapid configuration and ease of use, wherever and whenever required.

Transparent labels and substrates pose no problems for the new SICK UF Next fork sensor which uses ultrasonics to sense label position precisely whether clear, opaque, with coloured or printed designs, different web materials or even foils and metallics.

With its new TR4 Direct safety sensors for doors and gates, Sick has solved the problem of cost-effective series connection of up to 30 switches, achieving PLe, Cat 4 integrity and full diagnostic coverage of an installation.

Difficult shapes, flat or transparent objects that have previously defied reliable detection can now be seen clearly with the new MultiLine photoelectric sensor from Sick UK. The MultiLine ensures a stable and continuous detection signal from the leading to the trailing edge of a product, even when surfaces are glossy, flat, or contoured.

A new ‘all-in-one’ package to develop, build and install integrated Inspector vision sensors is being launched by Sick UK under its SystemsPlus service group. Sick Inspector vision solutions already provide cost-savings and improve efficiencies in a wide array of automated inspection and control applications for automotive, food & beverage and logistics companies.
