Threaded Inserts drive down costs at October Fastening Solutions Exhibition
Exhibition organisers Newbycom believe that threaded inserts will remain crucial to the continued development of many modern products, so they are likely to be of significant interest to buyers and specifiers visiting the Fastening & Assembly Solutions Exhibition at the National Motorcycle Museum this October.

Mechanical fasteners to the fore at Fastening Solutions Exhibition

Mechanical Fasteners are probably the oldest definable engineering system – but we have come a long way from using strips of bark or animal intestines to rope together our huts and boats however appropriate that might be! Human ingenuity continues to thrive and create brilliant new solutions to problems of locating and holding components/assemblies or structures. This varies from the continually re-invented screw or rivet through sophisticated removable fastening systems. The October Fastening Solutions Exhibition hosted at the National Motorcycle Museum is expected to see the very best of recent developments in this area, while enabling visitors to soak up the atmosphere of enthusiasm and dedicated engineering expertise exemplified by the Motorcycle Museum exhibits.

Fastening Solutions Exhibition - The fast route to cost savings and improved designs

There were a large number of enthusiastic visitors from industrial giants through to Formula 1 winners at the Fastening Solutions Exhibition Cosford recently. Pre-exhibition soundings showed that some previous visitors who would like to come - having attended the last show - were now actually too busy to do so! However the promise of lower cost fastening and assembly solutions and an opportunity to review all the latest fastening innovations convinced many OEMs to send more than one key engineer to the show, so that they could more effectively solve current fastening/cost issues.

New exhibitors and new fasteners at the next Fastening & Assembly Solutions Exhibition

UK Manufacturing Industry seems determined to fight its way out of the present economic situation – this is clearly exemplified by the many new exhibitors who can be seen at this year’s Fastening & Assembly Solutions Exhibition. They bring with them a vast array of new fastening products and processes. With almost a quarter of the companies exhibiting at the event being new to the show, visitors will benefit from an expanded portfolio of opportunities to reduce their manufacturing costs and improve their designs.

RAF Museum Cosford - April 29th - the place the (fastener) experts go!

It is not often that customers and suppliers enthusiastically agree that they are both getting a good deal, but when they are all engineering experts then the exhibition they are talking about is surely something very special. Comments from visitors to the last Fastening and Assembly Solutions Exhibition include “A very comprehensive and informative exhibition which gave me a detailed insight into Fastenings that will be used in future projects”, and the organisers are determined that the next event at Cosford on April 29th will be to an even higher standard and 100% fastening, adhesives and assembly related.

Save time, money and improve quality at the Fastening & Assembly Solutions Exhibition

In the manufacturing industry it is relatively easy to focus on products such as fasteners - however just as important are the practices and techniques of assembly processes. These are clearly overlapping areas but the Fastening & Assembly Solutions Exhibition at Cosford in April is expected to have many exhibitors who deal primarily with improving assembly systems, package integration or design/manufacturing consultants, all who save manufacturers money by improving assembly processes.

Fastening & Assembly Solutions Exhibition Report - Fastener problems met by problem solvers!
October’s Fastening & Assembly Solutions Exhibition, held at the National Motorcycle Museum, was considered the best yet. Finishing the Fastener Jigsaw

Given the pressures on manufacturing industry it is understandable that most design/production engineers seek to solve their Fastening & Assembly problems as quickly as possible – a search on Google, a browse of a favourite technical publication or directory – even a phone call to a favourite supplier. However well this works it neglects vital aspects of the specification/purchasing jigsaw – ensuring that the right questions are asked of the right people. The organisers of the Fastening & Assembly Solutions Exhibition – October 23rd at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham – are very familiar with this phenomenon – more than 75% of visitors in April found answers to things they never even realised they had a need for!

Fastener exhibition plays its part in cost reduction and production growth

Fastener exhibition plays its part in cost reduction and production growth
At a time when government forecasts are for zero growth in the economy as a whole – we note that manufacturing industry has grown a steady 1% p.a. since 2002 and that Fastening & Assembly Solutions Exhibition has also had record numbers of exhibitors, visitors and new fastener launches over that time. It may be that these latter facts are related.
