A new, low power, fanless computing platform from Datasound Laboratories is designed to withstand the rigours of industrial applications while providing extensive computer power.

A new family of three fanless touchscreen panel pc’s from Datasound Laboratories use the Intel Core2Duo processor to provide up to 1.66GHz of processing power, complemented by a maximum of 1GB of RAM. Available with 15 inch (AHM-6156), 12 inch (AHM-6126) and 10.4 inch (AHM-6106) LCD displays, the system can incorporate a 2.5 inch SATA hard disk and optional CompactFlash. Onboard features include 10/100Mbps LAN, two COM Ports, two USB 2.0 connections, audio (line out) and PS/2 keyboard and mouse interfaces.

Datasound Laboratories has added the NEMA4/IP65 rated AHM-6812, powered by Intel’s 1.6GHz Atom Z530 processor, to it’s growing range of panel HMI solutions and provides industrial system designers with a serious alternative to conventional PLCs.

With a power consumption of just 10W/hr from a single 5V supply, the new eBox-3300 from Datasound Laboratories is a truly low power computer solution with the performance of a full sized pc.

An ultra low cost touch screen industrial computer system implementing a 5.7 LCD with an IP65 rated front panel has been launched by Datasound Laboratories. The AHM-6051 incorporates an LCD which supports up to 320 x 240 resolution and has a brightness of 500 cd/m2.
