Adept Scientific is pleased to announce the addition of United Electronic Industries’ Guardian Series™ DNx-DIO-448 high density digital input boards to their range of data acquisition products.

Data Translation announces the release of Measure Foundry 5.1 featuring Vista® support and the addition of new components. The new Analog Input Synched component is specially designed to allow synchronization of two DT9837A modules, reducing development time as the two devices are presented in a single component configurable as one device with twice the channels. The new ASCII File Writer component allows the user to easily save data directly to a text file. Also in this release are new Measurement Applets, including the Sound and Vibration Applet.

The ‘fit-and-forget’ design of Burkert’s 8201 pH measuring system enables the sensor to stay in process, even during CIP purification. This feature saves users both time and cost, by removing the requirement for sensor removal, cleaning and recalibration. The non-breakable sensor also obviates the problems of fracture with glass sensors; while its enamelled stainless steel finish provides the highest levels of non-stick performance for maximised hygiene whilst pH values are measured.

Analytical Technology Inc. announces that its GasSens monitor enables safe and efficient continuous on-line monitoring and control of gas detection in the pharmaceutical industry. Analytical Technology is the de facto company for chlorine monitoring in water, and the recent introduction of the GasSens monitor to the UK market complements the company's existing portfolio of water and gas instrumentation.

With their Barflex IrDA, Baumer’s product segment Process Instrumentation offers a portable electronic pressure gauge with integrated memory for data acquisition on site. The collected data can be transferred to any PC via an infrared interface. The device is very easy to handle and most suitable for the measurement of liquids and gases.

Data Translation announces the Ethernet (LXI) version of their ultra-accurate temperature measurement instrument TEMPpoint. This network-ready version of the popular instrument provides a standard Ethernet connection to support remote monitoring and control of thermocouples, RTD's and voltages; in the field, in the laboratory and on the factory floor.

The XL7 series of inline viscometers from viscosity measurement specialist Hydramotion Ltd provides continuous real-time viscosity measurement of any fluid whatever the process conditions. As the instrument can be mounted in any location and orientation there is no need for any extra pipework or bypass line.
