Analytical Technology Develops System for Reliable Measurement of Turbidity in Water

Analytical Technology Develops System for Reliable Measurement of Turbidity in Water
Analytical Technology Inc. announces that its A15/76 Turbidity Monitor is capable of achieving reliable low-range measurements of turbidity levels in both drinking water and industrial water treatment applications. Turbidity is measured in nearly all water systems and is a general indicator of the optical clarity of water. The A15/76 Turbidity Monitor from ATi is capable of accurately measuring turbidity in clean or waste water. In clean water applications, the unique sensor flowcell eliminates sample degassing for precise and reliable results. In dirty water applications, ATi’s Auto-Clean system allows reliable accurate measurement without the need for constant cleaning.

Burger Quality Testing

Burger Quality Testing
The huge popularity of burgers from fast food outlets, pubs and at home, together with competitive pricing means that the composition of burgers can vary significantly, from 100% prime ground beef to poor-quality meat containing a high percentage of fat, bulking agents, salt and other additives. Texture analysis of uncooked patties using a new test jig for the Lloyd Instruments’ TAPlus texture analyser provides an objective measure of the burger consistency.
