At the four-digit matrix display, the measured value can be read easily on-site. The sensor’s display also offers the possibility to adjust the analogue output signal to the existing individual tank geometry via a 30-step calibration. The volume or level height can be displayed in any desired unit such as kg, m³, litre, and cm. The data input is realised via the FlexProgrammer 9701 into which the settings can be imported beforehand.
The UFAR’s sensing range reaches from 100 up to 1000mm. For the 4 to 20mA signal output, the sensor has a M12 plug connection. The combination of housing material, sensor technology and performance parameter is targeted at level tasks.
The stainless steel quality 1.4435 with highest-possible media resistance was chosen especially for applications in the food and pharmaceutical industry, enabling a contamination-free, contactless and safe detection of any media with direct indication of the current measuring value even with the most diverse tank geometries.
