DIY Aperture Metal Detector
For the small business or entrepreneur setting up an inline metal detecting system can be a daunting and expensive proposition costing several thousand pounds and often not meeting the actual requirements of the task. With this in mind Essex Metal Detectors have developed the Saxon AP 1. A DIY metal detector board that can in a couple of hours be set up and configured for many types of inline or aperture metal detecting tasks.
The board comes assembled and tested and with enough wire to make one coil of any shape and size to suit the required application. Output is via three SPCO relays with adjustable delays on/off up to 30 seconds, and a small speaker can be connected for setting up. Details of how to build and set up several Aperture type detectors can be found on the companies website www.easytreasure.co.uk/aper.htm
