Wireless alarms offer upsell opportunity for installers

The third offering, Home Alarm Kit, is designed for the busy family household and comprises features such as remote control fobs, contactless tags and a dummy siren for the garden.

Each alarm boasts an ‘At Home Zoning Mode’ to protect important entry points while still allowing access around the home. It can be controlled from anywhere inside or outside the home, within a distance of 150m. The wireless alarms sends alerts to the homeowner when an alarm is triggered, if a window or door is left open or tampered with. Additionally, a wireless external siren with flashing LEDs and a loud 105dB alerts homeowners in the case of an emergency.

The range features the Honeywell ActivLink, an innovative wireless protocol which, using the 868MHz frequency, delivers greater range capacity of up to 200m, extended battery life of up to 2 years and improved connection reliability. It also offers ease of installation for the busy installer. All accessories are pre-linked and ready to go out of the box, with all fittings included and optional screw-free installation on most accessories with the included sticky pads.

Each alarm can be simply armed and disarmed with one touch by using the keypad and contactless tags, or with a wireless remote control key fob. For the ultimate in simplicity, they can also be operated via an innovative keypad by using a PIN code.

Offering the ultimate in adaptability, Honeywell Wireless Alarms can be expanded with up to 44 accessories, as needed. As an easy additional upsell, the range can be linked to any number of Honeywell Doorbells to function as additional internal sirens.
