Bürkert’s new Type 6027 modular range of general purpose solenoid valves is designed for use with vacuum, neutral gases, fluids (compressed air, water, hydraulic oil) and slightly aggressive media, at pressures up to 16bar. The range comprises three modules Mini, Small and Compact that can be combined to allow multiple variations of functions, temperature ranges, coil ratings, chemical resistance and approvals. This simplifies valve selection for the user, providing the benefits of standardisation and a virtually unlimited combination of valve options

AMETEK Calibration Instruments has further enhanced its range of pressure generation products with the launch of the T-960, T-970 and T-975 pneumatic calibration pumps. The T-900 series calibration pump is used to generate pressure and vacuum (specific models) for checking, adjusting and calibrating mechanical and electronic pressure measuring instruments by comparative measurements. These pressure tests may be carried out in laboratories, workshop or on site at the measuring point.

The new BreakAway coupling from Colder Products Company provides safe and easy fluid transfer and protection from costly product loss and equipment damage. While heavy duty industrial versions of break-away couplings exist, there have been few options available for low pressure applications in plastic materials. These high quality, leak-free connectors allow the user to break the connection without depressing a latching mechanism for rapid, automatic disconnection when needed.

Brownell Pressure Relief Valves have been introduced in a wide range of sizes to prevent damaging pressure drops in a wider range of industrial applications, suiting flow rate requirements from just 0.1 litre/min up to10,000 litres/min depending on maximum differential pressure.

In conjunction with Birse Water, pumps designed and manufactured by Börger are playing a key role in the continuous improvement of processes at one of the UK’s largest sewage treatment works. A total of 27 ATEX-approved pumps from Börger are now in operation, where an average of 500 million litres of sewage is treated every day.

Aerators made by Landia have enabled a leading manufacturer of dairy products to better meet their very tight discharge consent by significantly improving the mixing and aeration of the uprated effluent plant’s balance tank.

Parker Hannifin has launched an range of innovative pneumatic valves that meet ISO standard 15047 parts 1 and 2 (ISO sizes 02, 01, 1, 2 and 3). Called the IsysNet , the new valves combine exceptional pneumatics performance, with 20% less power consumption and far lower breakaway forces than competing products, with integrated and fast serial bus communications that enable valves to be installed quickly and easily in a wide range of industrial applications.

Increased efficiency, lower noise generation and improved controllers are the main features of Rexroth’s new 32 Series of the A10VSO variable axial piston pumps. Designed specifically for use in the upper medium-duty range, these variable displacement pumps are suitable for use in harsh working environments with typical fields of application including plastics processing machines, machine tools and power units.

Parker Hannifin has added a new triple vane hydraulic pump to its extensive range of hydraulic equipment. Designed to offer high performance and long, low maintenance service life the new pump is particularly suitable for use in industrial applications and other environments where space is limited.
