AMETEK Calibration Instruments has further enhanced its range of pressure generation products with the launch of the T-960, T-970 and T-975 pneumatic calibration pumps. The T-900 series calibration pump is used to generate pressure and vacuum (specific models) for checking, adjusting and calibrating mechanical and electronic pressure measuring instruments by comparative measurements. These pressure tests may be carried out in laboratories, workshop or on site at the measuring point.
The new calibration pumps complete a range of 18 pressure generation solutions offering an operating capability from vacuum up to 1000 bar (15,000 psi). Ideally suited to pressure calibration, the new T-960 and T-970 pumps feature an extended range vernier adjustment for precisely controlling pump pressure, plus a comfortable pump handle. The T-960 is a low pressure model, it will generate pressure from 0 to 2 bar (30 psi), while the T-970 high pressure model model operates from 0 to 40 bar (580 psi).

The T-975 features both vacuum and pressure generation, with pressure up to 40 bar (580 psi). A valve makes it easy to switch from vacuum to pressure measurements. Built-in release valve, vernier valve for fine adjustment and dual pressure output ensure safe and simple operation. Both metric and imperial threads are available on the reference connection and hose.

The new pumps are available for individual sale as well as parts of complete ready-to-use pressure systems together with the JOFRA DPC-500, APC, CPC and IPI pressure calibrators. Since the pump and the indicator are separate systems, pumps can be replaced individually, if necessary.

To maintain continuity for existing customers, a repair capability for the now discontinued T-700 series, T-920 and T-930 calibration pumps will be available for an interim period.
