Sight Glass Rubbers now available in detectamet metal detectable rubber
ECC/Detectamet the UK Manufacturer of Metal Detectable Products for the Food & Pharmaceutical are pleased to announce the launch of their Detectamet Metal Detectable SG (sight glass) profile/extrusion “Detectamet SG”.
Developed and designed in conjunction with a major flour/ milling company this unique profile / extrusion has been specifically designed to reduce the amount of molded sight glass rubbers held in stock by the flour/milling company, reduce downtime and stock liability/cost.
Detectamet SG reduces downtime as it is supplied in 1 continuous length , it is simply cut to suit the diameter of the sight glass, bonded on-site then installed by site operatives , manufactured from blue metal detectable material which is FDA compliant , X-Ray detectable and extremely user friendly .
Can be used as part of HACCP
Companies using Detectamet SG have commented that the material clearly demonstrates the improvement of standards which is being demanded by most food producers & extremely cost effective .
Other metal detectable products Detectamet have developed for the flour / milling industry are: Hand-Hole Covers, Wear Strips, Seals & Gaskets etc
