With over 100 years of experience, a presence in over 80 countries and more than 8,000 employees worldwide, ESAB is the world’s most recognised brand in welding and cutting and the company’s stand in Shanghai had the theme “Strength through Co-operation”.
The ESAB stand featured subsidiary companies in China including Malu Cutting and Romar Heavy Industry, so presenting to all visitors advanced welding, cutting and automation solutions.
Besides the visual impact from high performance of ESAB products, corresponding ESAB technical lectures were also held at the meeting rooms of the exhibition centre. By focusing on three different subjects “Hydrogen Management for Innovative Gas-shielded and Self-shielded High Strength Flux-cored Wires”, “Advance in MIG Welding Wires, SAT-High Speed MIG! A Step above the Rest!” and “The use of existing advanced welding technology improves quality and give added value to your products – A practical example from a submerged arc welding installation”, the front-edge technology and experience of ESAB in these fields were shared with its audience.
Also earlier this year, the International Welding Forum was organized by China Mechanical Engineering Association with “Innovation towards the Strength” as its main theme. Dr George Adam, COO of ESAB China, was invited to introduce the technology, experience and expertise having been accumulated in more than 100 years of development of ESAB by giving his speech on “Driving towards a Clean, Safe & Sustainable Welding Industry”.
