Application Specific Rotary Joints
To transfer one medium through a rotary joint, even if it is of the multi-passage type, is on the face of it apparently easy.
Apparently, because the sealing choice and the quality of the contact faces are determined to suit the application parameters.

However it is much more complicated when it’s necessary to transfer different media with different parameters, which dictate the choice of different sealing systems inside the same joint.

In fact unlike the standard joint, the multi-passage joint can transfer various types of fluids, at different pressures and temperatures. Design of multi-passage joints can sometimes include

* Axial inlets on the housing,
* Radial outlets on the rotor,
* Over-the-shaft mounting,
* Drains between each channel,
* Complete design in stainless steel,
* Aluminium housing, brass or different alloy,
* Several inlets for each single passage,
* Other joints fitted in series
* A central hole for an electrical slip ring for the passage of electrical cables
* A central hole to transfer also powers, signals, serial data, etc

Our MP multi-passage joints allows all of these variants, and thanks to the possibility of custom designed solutions, they solve all your problems for safe transfer of fluids.
