Distributor of electronic components, TTI, has announced that following significant investments at its European HQ near Munich the company can now deliver new wire and cable and tubing services which will save customers time and money.

TTI can now cut tubing to any millimetre length, and also print wording or symbols the customer requires on the tubing. TTI offers a wide range of tubing technologies from leading suppliers including TE Connectivity, Delphi/HellermanTyton and Panduit. This means that customers can buy exactly what they need and reduce secondary manufacturing operations.

With the new wire and cable service, TTI can re-spool cable and wire from companies such as TE, Molex, Nexans, 3M and Amphenol from large drums onto smaller drums to suit the customer’s desired length (in metres). Therefore, customers are not forced to buy more product than necessary and that the drums they buy are perfectly suited to their manufacturing process needs.

Ronald Velda, Supplier Marketing Director Europe - Connectors for TTI, commented: “Buyers are always looking to reduce their costs. We introduced our connector assembly service some while ago and customers like the fast turn-around time - often 48 hours - and the production and inventory cost savings that it offers. The new tubing and cable and wire value-add services target harness markers in all market sectors, delivering benefits including reduced BOM, elimination of manufacturing processes, increased reliability and high quality levels.”
