The new Euro-Top Hygienic with reduced height

With reduced height, an absolutely even surface and EHEDG approval, the Euro-Top Hygienic is more than ever an ideal solution for use in all areas of the chemical, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.
According the stringent demands placed on the cleanliness of a production facility and its peripheral components, the surface of a cable gland must now not show any dust deposits.
Wherever food and beverages are produced, production residues or even harmful microorganisms are likewise taboo. “To this end we have placed all active components of the Euro-Top Hygienic into the interior of the cable gland body. Thanks to the absolutely even surface this produces, there is no chance of having any corners for dirt to collect”, as Head of Sales Oliver Kalmey explains. In addition, the sealing rings are made of a TPE material approved for the food sector in accordance with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600. “All in all, thanks to the very compact and well thought-out design, the protection ratings IP68 and IP69K are met without any difficulty”, says Kalmey.
The Euro-Top Hygienic is suitable for installing unshielded cables in all hygiene areas. It is made of V2A stainless steel and is available in different designs, from the version with EMC system to conduit fittings. The cable gland is resistant to chemical cleaning agents, is quick and easy to
clean, also using a high-pressure cleaner, and completely tight and impervious to dirt.
