Sulzer provides thin-film coating solutions for machining, forming, automotive, racing, semiconductors and plastic-processing applications. The company’s takeover of Bekaert's DLC coating activities has lead to a broader product portfolio offering, including diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings. The coatings combine very low frictional resistance and extreme hardness to reduce wear and friction in a wide range of industrial applications, such as machine parts and automotive components.
“PMW is the ideal backdrop for us to meet face to face with existing customers and our customers following the Bekaert acquisition,” says Mark Mark Boghe, Segment Manager Racing / Automotive. “We’re pooling our resources and expertise so that we can offer our customers top-quality, complementary technologies. We look forward to showing delegates how our coating solutions can help them optimize components and parts, and ultimately cut costs and boost overall performance.”
