Krayden, Inc., introduces Dow Corning Solar Solutions’ PV InstantSeal. This silicone reactive hot melt supports higher-speed assembly with instant green strength, offering productivity improvements in both solar frame and junction box sealing.

The unique physical properties of this 100 percent silicone neutral cure sealant minimize contamination of module components during assembly. An advantage of the PV InstantSeal is in the application process, which is made more user-friendly by the long pot life (up to 24 hours) and overall open time using this moderate hot melt application with temperatures less than 125°C. This technology was developed to meet the demanding sealing requirements of high-speed photovoltaic (PV) module frame and junction box sealing operations. With the strong silicone qualities of weather resistance and low VOC, this aesthetically pleasing clear adhesive offers improved productivity in PV module assembly, allowing for immediate handling and shipping.

Krayden, Inc. is an authorized distributor for the Dow Corning Solar Solutions’ PV-based silicone materials that are produced to increase efficiency in solar manufacturing. With a specialty in technical support for high tech-based applications and manufacturer trained representatives, Krayden, Inc. can offer knowledgeable assistance as well as re-packaging, dispensing and processing solutions for any photovoltaic manufacturing need.
