Krayden, Inc debuts Dow Corning’s 1-2620 Solar Cell Coating. Dow Corning 1-2620 is the low viscosity conformal coating version of Dow Corning 1-2577. The Dow Corning 1-2620 low-VOC conformal coating is an abrasion resistant protective coating for solar cells and modules that can be used for module repair of abrasions, cuts and scratches.

Krayden, Inc introduces Dow Corning’s 700 Silicone Sealant. The one-part RTV silicone-based rubber is weather resistant and holds up to extreme temperatures.

Targeted for solar and related applications, the UV40 SOLAR is formulated for use under prolonged exposure to sunlight, and resists discoloring and degradation. The one-part, low viscosity, conformal coating is targeted for solar CPV (Concentrated Photovoltaic Technology) cells and weather exposed systems such as LED signs and displays.

The compound is a silicone oil that offers water resistance, low vapor pressure, low volatility and a wide service temperature range of -40°C/-40°F to 200°C/392°F.

The UV40 gel by Humiseal is formulated specifically for various large-scale light emitting diode (LED) applications, including the huge displays in sporting stadiums, which need a lightweight coating. The material also has been used in the manufacturing of LED displays carried on blimps and hot air balloons. Humiseal UV40 gel is ideal when lightweight hermetically sealed housing is needed for electronic circuitry to withstand extreme UV exposure, as well as lightning strikes and moisture ingress from rain. The standard Humiseal UV40 conformal coating is applied with the UV40 gel around sensitive areas of the circuit board to increase the thickness of covering.
