Intertronics - put electronic mixing in a spin

An underlying principle in high technology industries seems to be that progress, real progress, is about doing more with less, keeping things simple, working smarter. The ingenious people at Intertronics certainly seem to understand the concept, which is brilliantly demonstrated in the Thinky ARE and ARV series mixers.

Explains M.D. Peter Swanson: “With their ARE/V series Thinky have turned mixing from an art into a science pretty much overnight. In mixing materials such as alumina and epoxy or silver paste, fluorescent materials, solder pastes or high loading adhesives, there is only a short program development time then a push button operation for quick, consistent bubble free mixing.”

The ARE-250 first introduced by Intertronics in 2006 greatly simplified mixing processes because unlike other systems its planetary action mixes quickly without enfolding air which would then need vacuum removal. This is excellent for the great majority of materials. There are some however where even the presence of micro-bubbles cannot be accepted and for these two new machines have been developed each with an integral vacuum environment applied while the mixing is in progress – not afterwards as with other systems. The ARV-310 and ARV-5000 offer a much less effervescent gas removal throughout the mixing process, leaving a completely homogeneous bubble free mix without the mess associated with rapid post-mix degassing.
