Munich based chemical company WACKER and Intertronics are pleased to announce the signing of a distribution contract under which Intertronics will sell WACKER’s range of RTV silicone encapsulants and potting compounds, adhesive sealants, and thermally conductive compounds to customers in the UK and Ireland.

Based in Edinburgh, Shot Scope Technologies designs and manufactures innovative wearable technology which helps both professional and amateur golfers to improve their game. A keen golfer with a background in electronics design, CEO David Hunter set up the company in 2014 to develop the golf wearable, which collects and analyses over 100 key statistics from each round played, identifying shots, club used and GPS information. The data can then be easily uploaded to any smartphone or tablet (via an app) or computer.

The new Fisnar F4500N Dispensing Robot is the latest development from Intertronics, which shares all the technical advantages of the F4000 range in an expanded format of 500x500mm, still in a convenient benchtop design. The F4500N is a full function robot that enables cost effective automation of liquid dispensing operations, allowing increased productivity and consistent output. 

The latest release from Intertronics, the preeflow eco-PEN330 volumetric dosing pump, offers manufacturers precision application of fluids and pastes from a minimum of 0.002ml, at rates of up to 3.3 ml/min. The preeflow progressive cavity pump technology handles delicate fluids from watery up to a pasty consistency without damage, and since the system is both temperature and input pressure independent it can provide ±1% accuracy and better than 99% repeatability.

Designed for low and medium viscosity liquids, Intertronics have launched two non-contact jetting valves. The Vermes MDS 3010+ and Vermes MDS 3020+ microdispensing jetting valves are designed for precision dispensing of material in small volumes at fast speeds with extremely high accuracy and repeatability.

  Two new dispensing valves have been launched by Intertronics which are especially suitable for cyanoacrylate adhesives as well as other volatile and/or low viscosity materials such as UV cure adhesives, solvents, varnishes, lacquers or inks.

GJD Manufacturing designs, produces and sells intruder detection products at its factory and head office in Heywood, Greater Manchester. One of GJD’s main products is its line of white-light and infra-red LED illuminators, marketed under the company’s Clarius brand. Used principally in security applications, they also find other uses, including broadcast production. High performance and optimum reliability are essential when considering that many installations are subjected to rigorous weather conditions. 

With Q4 of 2016 proving that manufacturing productivity is growing, by 1.7% to be precise on the previous quarter, overall growth is still lagging behind the curve, and the UK economy continues to be haunted by the ‘productivity puzzle’. Engineering adhesives specialist Intertronics works with its customers to enhance their productivity in order to compete in both home and export markets.

Some nanoparticles have the tendency to agglomerate or cluster into denser masses which can lead to homogeneity and performance issues in their subsequent use. Existing methodologies to de-agglomerate them do not always produce uniform results, or can be invasive and wasteful.

The latest generation of dispensing components, designed and manufactured to compete, and be compatible with other brands has been announced by dispensing and adhesives company, Intertronics. Expected to attract widespread interest from both engineers and buyers is the economical purchase price, and the new next day delivery service.

Convenience, high speed, high performance atmospheric plasma cleaning and surface activation are features on offer from the Relyon Plasma PB3 Plasmabrush from Intertronics. The PB3 Plasmabrush is a nozzle-type plasma generator which is particularly compact and offers long-term stability. 

Recently introduced, the Dymax BlueWave MX-150 LED UV Spot Curing Lamp offers the speed, consistency, reliability and long service life associated with LED UV curing. The modular unit from Intertronics has a separate, compact light emitter, suitable for benchtop use but small enough to be readily integrated into robotic or other fully automated systems.

  A new generation of thermally conductive two-part epoxy adhesives, have been introduced from Intertronics, as the latest applications in energy and electrical engineering require highest ever levels of thermal conductivity.

The Relyon Plasma PZ2 piezo brush has been developed by Intertronics, which the company claim is the smallest cold active plasma device of its kind.  

The new DYMAX Speedmask 731 from Intertronics speeds up and improves temporary masking prior to aggressive finishing processes in manufacturing, especially on darker colour substrates. Its unique bright yellow colour enables quick and accurate visual checking of coverage or removal which is enhanced by fluorescence under black light.

Extended curing times for adhesives can often create a bottleneck in the production process which can interrupt work flow. This was exactly the problem experienced by Brandon Medical Ltd. Technical Director Nigel Davill explained: “We had a problem bonding three polycarbonate lenses together to make the large front lens of our Quasar eLite operating theatre lamp.

The new Fisnar DC100 has a claim to be the most adjustable and adaptable programmable liquid dispenser on the market. The new Liquidyn P-Dot CT high precision micro dispensing valve from Intertronics uses dynamic dot technology for the controlled dispensing of medium to high viscosity materials such as oils, greases, adhesives, silicones, laquers, fluxes and other medical/chemical substances. The P-Dot CT accurately and reliably dispenses micro dots of even abrasive materials and features high speed non-contact jetting – making it suitable for non-planer 3D surfaces in industries such as electronics, solar energy, machine building, automotive, packaging, furniture, medical, cosmetics and food.
