ESAB is offering free copies of its latest 84-page Solid Wires catalogue that lists hundreds of wires for Mig, Tig and submerged arc welding (SAW), plus appropriate fluxes. In addition to a wealth of technical data for each grade of wire and flux, the catalogue includes handling and storage guidance, health and safety information, details about packaging options, and typical welding data and joint preparation recommendations.
Brand names featured in the catalogue include the familiar OK AristoRodTM, OK Autrod and OK Tigrod. Non-alloyed and low-alloyed steels are covered, plus stainless steels, aluminium alloys and copper.
For each welding wire, the catalogue provides a description, classifications, composition, typical mechanical properties of the weld metal, and approvals. In most cases there is also a table of welding parameters for the available wire diameters.
