At RWM 2014, Atlas Copco Compressors will be showcasing its full array of energy-efficient compressed air solutions, including the company’s compact GA VSD+ compressor. Launched in 2013, GA VSD+ compressors provide industry-leading energy savings of 50% on average, a 13% leap in Free Air Delivery and a canopy less than half the size of traditional fixed speed compressors.
On Stand 4C91, experts from Atlas Copco will be on hand to highlight the vital role that VSD compressors can play within recycling plants, where an ability to cope with varying loads is an important requirement, This helps ensure a recycling plant is as energy efficient, controllable and flexible as possible, with the right flow, pressure and air quality provided.

Atlas Copco will also be showcasing its full spectrum of compressed air solutions for the waste management industry; from design, sizing and AIRNet pipework solutions, to innovative energy efficient compressed air systems utilising the latest in VSD technology. Visitors will also be able to learn about other technologies from Atlas Copco that support sustainable productivity, including energy recovery systems, which enable as much as 94% of the electrical energy used by an industrial air compressor to be recycled and redirected in the form of heat air or water, and the company’s robust and reliable oil-sealed vacuum pump systems which are ideal for a number of applications within recycling plants.
Also on the stand will be information about SMARTLINK, Atlas Copco’s latest data monitoring programme for compressors which intelligently gathers, compares and analyses data to help compressed air users improve maintenance and service efficiency.
