When the industrial control and automation market get together in Nuremberg at this year’s SPS/IPC/DRIVES exhibition, Molex Incorporated (Hall 10, Stand 110) will showcase its latest advancements towards convergence of power and signals.
“Molex is consistently developing products that deliver faster speeds in higher density, with smaller form factors and a lower, overall applied cost to the customer,” said Andreas Vogt, Director Product Development Integrated Products, Molex. “We are seeing a trend towards industrial Ethernet, in the form of Ethernet/IP, Ethernet TCP and Profinet, being implemented down to the device level. With these trends, new hybrid, ruggedised industrial connectors bring combinations of power and signals into a small IP-rated package.”
Key product highlights will include the new Brad® Micro-Change® M12 CAT6A and CHT (Circular Hybrid Technology) connectors, as well as the Brad HarshIO Ethernet/IP Quick connect module. A live demonstration at the booth will present Molex capabilities and product highlights in action in an industrial environment.
Throughout the exhibition, experts from Molex will be on hand (Hall 10, Stand 110) to provide visitors with advice and guidance on selecting industrial automation products and interconnect solutions for their own specific applications, with the emphasis on combining efficiency with versatility, durability and value for money. Alternatively, see Molex at the PROFIBUS Nutzerorganisation - PNO (Hall 6, Stand 210), ODVA (Hall 6, Stand 122) or Rockwell Automation (Hall 9, Stand 205) partner stands.
